Q: Is the Class of '64 Mini-Reunion the same as the "Decade Gathering" for the Class of 1964?
A: No! The Mini-Reunion is for Class of '64 graduates + their invited guests. The Decade Gathering is for all classes of the 1960's. The Mini-Reunion will be at the Hyatt in downtown Buffalo. The Decade Gathering will be at the Tap Room on Eggert Road, which some of you may remember as the former Park Edge Supermarket.
Q: Will there be nametags? I am not sure I will recognize anyone!
A: Yes. We understand the problem. Both appearance and eyesight have changed since 1964. Nametags will be provided, in fact, they will be mandatory.
Q: How many people are attending the Mini-Reunion?
A: We may have to drop "Mini" from the title. As of today, with 18 days to go, we have about 41 Class of '64 attendees. With their guests, we are at a total attendance of about 56. Everyone from the Class of '64 is invited, and responses continue to dribble in. If you know a Class of '64 graduate who is not (yet) coming, please encourage them to attend.
Q: Is there a deadline for signing up?
A: No. Come at the last minute if you like. You will have to fill out your nametag by hand, however, so we are encouraging everybody who plans to come to let us know in advance.
Q: Will there be drinking at the Mini-Reunion?
A: Yes. There will be a cash bar. As with nametags, we may make drinking mandatory. What's a reunion without drinking?
Q: What time does the Mini-Reunion start?
A: 6:40. (Duh.)
Q: When does it end?
A: "quarter to three"
Q: Will there be food at the Mini-Reunion?
A: There will be limited snacks. Everyone is encouraged to have a nice dinner before coming.
Q: Will there be tables?
A: Yes. And chairs.
Q: Are some people attending both the Decade Gathering and the Mini-Reunion?
A: Yes. A suggestion would be to go to the Decade Gathering first, then come to the Mini-Reunion. Or vice-versa.
Q: Is there a list of people attending the Saturday night dinner (aka Gala Jubilee Celebration, "Forever Young")?
A: Yes. Click here.
